About Jordan Taylor

Jordan Taylor is the creator and host of the new upcoming show called $LegallyBlack the Podcast. She made her radio debut on Pastor Joel Olsteen's Sirius XM show when her mom won tickets to be a special guest at the premiere taping in New York City in 2014.

Jordan was featured to ask an audience question to the Olsteen's. After the taping someone suggested that she had a good voice for radio. That same day, she ran into her childhood role model Hip-Hop news anchor, Sway Clloway, and had such a positive experience that it encouraged her to pursue her passion for public speaking on Feminist issues in media & film.

Jordan takes classes online with Harvard Business School and earned 2 certificates in Disruptive Strategy & Economics, Business Analytics, Accounting, as well as 2 more from the Harvard Extension School on Making Decisions in Uncertain Times & Leading Virtual Teams.

Jordan is a digital illustrator with more than 500+ works, a poet, and co-author to her first published work with a fellow Yale alumna titled, Overcoming Intimate Partner Violence. Mission of LegallyBlack the podcast:

The mission of LegallyBlack is to elevate and amplify conversations that process the news, trends, and current events from an Intersectional Feminist lens. Our goal is to uplift the perspectives of BIPOC and our allies and to help push DEI topics and concerns at the forefront of media conversations. We are aggressively, confrontational, yet committed to non-violence and cross-collaborational with the issues we address.

Vision

Our visions is a world where the perspective of BIPOC listeners’ concerns are taken seriously and centered in media conversations. We hope to build a digital journalistic pipeline and communications grapevine for legacy media and newer social media influencers.

Target Audience

We attract listeners who want more diverse analysis and expertise from traditional and legacy media, yet feel like this perspective is missing or diminished. We seek to tell the truth for the cause of advancing social justice in the USA and globally.
